An incredible day to be outside painting … although who happens to be on top of a nest of flying ants? They all left suddenly … or they like the solvent or storm comes…🐜⛈ I have been working from background to foreground. In the end I adjust everything and unify it.

I went down to the port today thinking of painting some boats that I saw yesterday and they called my attention, but I have seen this wall of rocks full of heather and lichens that shone with the sun and I could not resist.

The acid color of the flowers of the cabbages is incredible. It really was to take mostly the cadmium yellow tube to paint them. Towards a nice contrast with the dark mountain in the background. A nice spring afternoon, it was collecting everything and it started to rain … fffiu…🏃🏻💦
