A few weeks in Madrid and several days in Museo_Sorolla. The temporary exhibition “Cazando Impresiones” – Sorolla in small format, inspiring!
Sorolla’s house museum is my favorite place in Madrid. I was born and grew up there so it has always been like my second home, for the hours I have spent there and the spirit that is breathed in every corner.
The gardens are beautiful and lead you to what is one of the most special experiences you can have.
And then the doors open and suddenly you feel an overwhelming feeling in your whole body at what you are seeing that in my case made me cry…surely some of you understand me.
These are some of the photos I took. They do not have much quality and I have been thinking what to publish and I will go with the details, you can see the agility of the brush and all the texture. Awesome…
After the main rooms of the museum you will reach the temporary exhibition rooms. This time it is dedicated to “Sorolla in small format”.
These are some of the more than 230 paintings exhibited.
I return home transformed and full of inspiration!
